11 return after languishing in Indian jail for 2 yrs

Eleven Bangladeshi nationals returned home from India on Thursday after languishing in a jail there for two years.Indian Immigration Police handed them over to the Bangladesh authorities through Benapole check post at night.
The returnees are Abdur Rahman, 16, son of Shamsur Rahman of Satkhira, Ashraf Dhali, 15, son of Asadul Dhali, Yeasin Farazi, 15, son of Siddique of Pirojpur, Ikram Biswas, 14, son of Nazrul Islam of Jessore, Ajoy Haldar, 13, son of Seta Haldar of Rajbari, Biplab Bala, 16, son of Bipod Bala of Gopalganj, Apurbo Barai, 15, son of Narendranath Barai of Kotalipara, Sohan Gazi, 14, son of Muktar Gazi of Narail, Bithi Akter, 16, of Khulna, Afroza Khatun, 15, of Magura, and Rahman, 16, of Narail.
Tarikul Islam, officer-in-charge of Benapole immigration police, said all the eleven had been trafficked to India through Jessore bordering area two and a half years back.
Indian police arrested them from Kolkata and sent them to jail.
Later, the process to bring them back started following joint intervention of the home ministries of the two countries.
The victims were handed over to the members of Bangladesh Immigration Police at night.
