155 Bangladeshis rescued from sea being brought back of Myanmar

A team of Border Guard of Bangladesh went to Myanmar on Wednesday morning to bring back 155 Bangladeshis who were recently rescued from Myanmar sea territory.
The flag meeting began between BGB and Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP) began along the border around 12pm.The eight-member team of the BGB led by BGB-17 Commanding Officer Lt Col Md Rabiul Islam went to the Dekibuniya BGP camp in Maungdaw of Myanmar for the flag meeting.
Earlier, the Myanmar authorities sent a list of 528 people who intended to return to Bangladesh, to the authorities here.
Later, the government has identified 155 people, out of 528, as Bangladeshi nationals after the police verification.
The Bangladeshis were reportedly going to Malaysia and Thailand through sea illegally.- UNB
