Dhaka – Police recovered bodies of two day labourers from two separate places of the city and Godagari upazila in Rajshahi on Friday.Being informed by locals, police recovered the body of Abdus Sattar, 60, hailing from Sujanagar of Pabna district, from Nimtala bank colony of the city around 5:30pm, said officer-in-charge of Rajpara Police Station Aman Ullah.The body of Sattar, recovered on his bed, was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) morgue for an autopsy, said the OC.
Besides, the hanging body of another day labourer, Bablu Hossain, 47, son of late Abdul Khalil, was recovered from Harishankpur village of Goadagari upazila, said sub-inspector of Premtali Police investigation centre Partha Pratim.Locals spotted the body of Bablu hanging from a tree near the house at noon and informed police.Later, the law enforcers recovered the body and sent it to the RMCH morgue.Quoting the family members, the SI said Bablu might have killed himself as he was mentally handicapped and earlier tried to commit suicide for several times.UNB news agency
