Satellite data indicate burning in Rakhine State: HRW

UNHCR seeks open borders for people fleeing Rakhine

UNHCR, the refugee agency of the United Nations, has urged Bangladesh to open borders for people fleeing violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine State. “UNHCR believes it’s of the utmost importance that it (Bangladesh) continues to allow Rohingya fleeing violence to seek safety there,” said UNHCR spokesperson Adrian Edwards on Tuesday at a press briefing at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. Google mistake disrupts Japan’s web traffic

Google has admitted that wide-spread connectivity issues in Japan were the result of a mistake by the tech giant.
