3 madrasah students missing in Kurigram

Dhaka, June 10 – Three students of Jannatul Ferdaus Nurani Hafizia Madrasa in Nageshwari upazila of Kurigram have been missing from Thursday last.They were identified as Shah Alam, 12, son of Abu Bakkar of Chhatbari village in the upazila; Jahurul Haque, 11, son of Khoka Mia and Dukhu Mia, 11, son of Fazlar Rahman of same village and were students of Kayda class.
Family sources said the three minors left home for the madrasa at around 5pm on Thursday.
When the family members went to masrasa for giving them food at night they were informed that the students did not go here.
Azizar Rahman, a teacher of the madrasa said the madrasa is closed now and they haven’t come here.
Several students said they saw the three near the madrasa on Thursday morning.
Zakir-ul-Islam Chowdhury, officer-in-charge of Kochakata Police Station, said we have heard the matter. No one, however, have filed any general diary or any report to the police station so far, he added. – UNB
