The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved a chargesheet against four people, including three physicians of Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital, in a graft case. The Commission at its regular meeting on Sunday approved the chargesheet against them, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
The chargesheet will be submitted before court against two former directors of Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital Abu Bakar Siddique and ABM Iqbal Hossain and deputy director Md Siddiqur Rahman and owner of Blare Aviation Moklesur Rahman. Dhaka, UNB News Agency Reported.
On August 26, 2015, the ACC filed a case against five people, including then deputy secretary of Health Ministry Abdul Malek, for allegedly plundering Tk 75 lakh from the medical college. But, prime suspect Abdul Malek has been dropped from the chargesheet.
According to the first information report (FIR), all the five accused in collusion with each other swindled out about Tk 75 lakh from Dinajpur Hospital in the name of repairing medical equipment and machines during the 2013-14 fiscal year.
