Again attack on Indian army camp in Kashmir


A member of India’s Border Security Force (BSF) has been killed in an attack on an army camp in north Kashmir, media report.Two militants were also killed by the troops in an ensuing gun battle at the camp at Baramulla, a frontier district, on Sunday night, The Hindu said, without citing any source.
The camp came under attack two weeks after a similar attack killed 19 soldiers and ratcheted up tensions between India and Pakistan.
Baramulla Superintendent of Police Imtiyaz Hussein told Reuters news agency that heavy firing was going on near the camp of India’s 46 Rashtriya Rifles.
Abid Nabi, who lives nearby, said: “We are hearing huge explosions and firing.”
NDTV reported two BSF soldiers were injured and one of them succumbed to his injuries later.
India launched what it called “surgical strikes” after the Sep 18 attack on the Uri army base near the Line of Control with Pakistan.
India said it inflicted significant casualties. Pakistan denied any such attack had taken
