Resuming the day at 354 for 6 Australia finished day 2 at 517 for 7 on Wednesday. Thanks to a 163 runs partnership between Clarke and Smith. Rain washed most of the days play, only 30 overs of cricket was played, but both Smith and Clarke managed to reach their century mark within that period of play. Clarke scored 128 but Smith was unbeaten at 162. Aussie batsmen hammered the Indian bowlers all over the park and scoring at a very healthy rate of 4.3 even in test. It looks like Australia will score more quick runs tomorrow, before their bowlers run over the Indian batting line up.
