Dhaka  – Bangladesh drew the series 1-1 with their maiden Test victory against England by 108 runs spurred by sensational off-break spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz’s 12-wicket haul in the 2nd Test that ended on the third day at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur here on Sunday.Having 244 in the first innings, England opened their 2nd innings on the 3rd day to chase a target of 273 and fell short of 109 as Miraz’s six for 77 restricted them to 164/10 in 45.3 overs.,UNB News Agency Reported.Earlier, Bangladesh, having 220 in the first innings, resumed the 2nd innings on day 3 with an overnight score of 153/3 in 31 overs and
raised their tally to 296/10 in 66.5 overs to take a 272-run lead.Miraz conceded 159 runs to bag 12 wickets in two innings of the 2nd Test.In the 1st Test in Chittagong, Bangladesh concede a narrow 22-run defeat in a thrilling climax from winning position.
