Bangladesh terrorists surrendered in Tripura


Two Bangladesh terrorists are surrendered in Tripura to the police with Chinese made arms and ammunition. They are identified as Sunil Mohan Tripura and Jatanjoy Tripura.
They deposited AK-series rifle, 1 magazine, 2 grenades, 16 live cartridges. These 2 came from the base camp at Chittagong Hill Tract (CHT) which is in Bangladesh which is 230 KM far away from there.
They are planning to surrender from long period of time to join and lead the life added by the Superintendent of Police (SP) Special Branch (SB) and Manik Dutta, SI (SB) who had facilitated their surrender.In an interrogation, Sunil was informed that “he is a resident of Kukil Mani Para under Dhumacherra police station of Dhalai district and had joined NLFT in 2000, while Jatanjoy a self-styled sepoy is a resident of Gobindabari under Chawmanu PS of the same district and joined NLFT in 2008.”
NLFT and All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) members made shelter and trained in the hideouts in various parts of Bangladesh which is at a distance of 856 KM from Tripura.
Experts of Tripura and Union Home Ministry made 2 rounds of talks with the NLFT expressed their willingness to hold the peace with the government. –
