Home Minister Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir on Sunday said BNP is talking

rubbish against the ban on holding rallies and processions as it has
forgotten the constitution.

“BNP has forgotten about the constitution. That’s why it is talking
rubbish about the ban on rallies and processions quite
unconstitutionally,” he said while inaugurating Aminpur Police Station
in Pabna.

Citizens must abide by the laws if they want to arrange rallies and
processions at any place of the country, and Dhaka Metropolitan Police
has banned rallies and processions as per the laws, the minister
added.

Sought comments on post-Oct 25 situation, MK Alamgir said, “Only the
astrologer can tell what will happen in this country.”

He also reminded that the government and the law enforcement agencies
are on alert to fend off any sabotage and criminal activity in the
name of rally and procession. – UNB
