Bus friction victim student Rajib’s case report deferred


Dhaka, June 10 – The submission of the investigation report of Titumir College student Rajib Hossain’s case was yesterday (Sunday) deferred to July 16. Magistrate Golam Nabi of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka passed the order as the investigation officer of the case Sub-Inspector Aftab Ali could not submit the investigation report on Sunday.
The two accused of the case are BRTC bus driver Wahid, 35, and Sajan Paribahan bus driver Khorshed, 50.
Earlier, on April 5, a Dhaka court placed both of them in two-day remand and they were sent to the jail on April 8.
On April 3, Rajib, a third-year student of Government Titumir College, lost his right hand after it got stuck between the two speeding buses trying to overtake each other in the capital's Bangla Motor area. Wahid and Knorshed were driving the buses. – Special Correspondent
