The case was filed with Gulshan Police Station of the city in connection with corruption about a home, worth Tk 300 crore. The home was registered in the name of Inje Maria Faz, wife of Pakistani citizen Md Ehsan.
The lady left Bangladesh immediately after the Liberation War and home was included in list of abandoned property. However, Moudud allegedly managed to drop the property from that list. After the death of Faz on May 30, 1985, Moudud and Monjur allegedly grabbed home through a sale deed made between the two accused and one Mohsin. – Special Correspondent
