The Bnp-led 20-Party Alliance has announced relaxation of hartal form 12 hours from 6am to 6pm on Tuesday to mark Bangladesh’s march to quarter fianls of Cricket World Cup.
Bnp’s standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan made the decision known on behalf of Bnp chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia on Monday evening.He said that the 20-Party has taken up a programme of processions across the country to rejoice the elevation of the Bangladesh team to the quarter finals of world cup for the first time.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia in a message to the press congratulated the Bangladesh Cricket team immediately after it recorded the victory against the England team in Adelide, Australia.
Nazrul Islam Khan informed that the blockade programme will remain in place. Only hartal will remain relaxed for Tuesday. – News Desk
