DMP asked DMCH to remove militants’ bodies from morgue


Dhaka-The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has told the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) that it cannot take the 13 bodies of militants killed in Kalayanpur,Narayanganj and Mirpur as it was yet to receive reports of different tests on the bodies and take next step as per the Court directives.In a letter seeking to know what should be done on the bodies lying at the morgue of the DMCH the hospital authorities asked the city police to remove the bodies lying at t its morgue.
Earlier in the afternoon of yesterday the DMCH sent a letter to the DMP.In reply DMP DC Masudur RAhman said, they have not yet received reports of different tests conducted on the bodies, which it considers as vital. He said,13 bodies of the militants were kept at the DMCH mortuary. Bodies of six militants kllled during operation at the Gulshan café Holey Artisan had been kept the CMH morgue.-Staff Reporter
