England due Sept 30 to play ODI, Test series against Tigers


Dhaka – England Cricket team will arrive here on September 30 on a month-long tour to Bangladesh after around six years to play a three-match ODI (Day-Night) and two-match Test series against the Tigers in Dhaka and Chittagong.Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday announced the itinerary for England’s tour. Prior to the series, England team will play a one-day warm up match
against a local selection on October 4 at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.The English team will start their Bangladesh campaign with ODI match on October 7 at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur and play the 2nd ODI match on October 9 at the same venue.The tourists will play the 3rd and last ODI on October 12 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city of Chittagong.Prior to the first Test at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on October 20-24, visiting England team will play back-to-back two-day warm up matches at MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong during October 14-17.The 2nd and final Test between Bangladesh and England will be held on October 28 to November 1 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.Bangladesh are going to play their first ODI and Test series since last November after playing T20Is this year.England will leave Bangladesh on November 2 for their tour of India.
