EURO 2016: Brits face-off for QF place


Dhaka– Debutants Wales and Northern Ireland face each other in the second game of the 16-team knock-out stage of EURO 2016 and will play each other on Saturday night at Parc des Princes, Paris to qualify for the last eight.The 2nd match of the round of 16 will begin at 10:00pm Bangladesh time.  To stay in the race, Wales emerged Group-B champion collecting unbeaten six points from three matches, starting the 24-team tournament campaign with a 2-1 win against Slovakia then conceded a 1-2 loss against England while upset Russia by 3-0 goals. The Northern Ireland side is running in the knock-out stage as one of the best third-place finishers, collecting three points from their three matches of Group-C. They started with a solitary goal loss against Poland then back with 2-0 victory over Ukraine while conceded a 1-0 defeat against Germany.The winner of the match will play either Hungary or Belgium in the quarterfinal at Lille on Friday (July 1).
