Dhaka – Coming back from one goal behind, Bangladesh got a 3-1 victory against Chodang University Football Team in a FIFA international friendly match at Mokpo International Training Center Football Ground in South Korea on Monday.Chodang University took the lead with Ui Chan Joung scoring in the 17th minute while Biplu Ahmed scored the equalizer in the 39th minute for Bangladesh.
Bangladesh got the lead in the 78th minute as Motin Mia found the net before Robiul Hasan extended the winning margin scoring in the 81st minute.
Bangladesh team head coach Jamie Day happy on his boys’ gradual improvement as his side started the campaign on the current tour with 0-2 loss against Gwangju Football Club before back with 2-1 win in the second game against Sehan University Football Team.
The visiting side head coach said, “Day by day our boys are improving themselves and we don’t have any injured players in the team.”
Leaving home On July 29, Bangladesh footballers are now on tour to South Korea for a two-week specialised training camp ahead of their mission in the the 18th Asian Games in Indonesia and the SAFF Suzuki Cup at home.
On completion of the camp in South Korea, Bangladesh football team off to Indonesia on August 11 to take part in the 45-nation Asian Games, which will be held in Jakarta and Palembang from August 18 to September 2.
Bangladesh’s booters will arrive home before the start of the seven-nation SAFF Suzuki Cup from September 4 to 15 in Dhaka. Bangladesh will host the region’s premier football tournament for the third time.UNB
