Dhaka – Bangladesh National Football Team will play their last Group-B match of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Jordan National team at the Amman International Stadium on Thursday (March 24).Table topper Australia will face Tajikistan in their home match at Adelaide Oval in the other group match on Thursday.Earlier in their home match, Bangladesh conceded 0-4 goals defeat against Jordan at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on September 8, 2015.

Bangladesh national football, now in Amman to play their away match against Jordan, made few days practices at UAE Football Association ground ahead of their last qualifying round match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.During their stay in UAE, Bangladesh suffered a 1-6 goals defeat against stronger United Arab Emirates (UAE) team in a FIFA International Friendly at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi last Friday.Earlier, Bangladesh football team left Dhaka for Abu Dhabi on March 16 en route to Jordan to play their last Group-B match of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.Bangladesh have already been eliminated from the race as they were placed bottom in the five-nation Group B securing only one point from seven home and away matches. Bangladesh bagged the lone point after playing 1-1 draw with Tajikistan in their home match at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on June 16 last year World cupper Australia topped the group list securing 15 points from six matches, Jordan followed them with 13 points from six encounters, Kyrgyztan bagged eleven points from seven outings and Tajikistan earned five points from seven matches.(UNB)
