After finishing shooting his much-awaited Dangal, Aamir Khan will be seen on-screen portraying the role of a music composer in his manager’s Advait Chandan’s directorial debut, tentatively titled as Secret Superstar.
According to a report published on DNA India, the film was previously titled, Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai. However, the perfectionist will be seen in a supporting role, and the film’s lead cast, a mother-son duo, are yet to be finalised.
The story of the film is based on a teenager who saves her mother from an abusive father with the help of an alcoholic divorcee. Apparently, the actor is planning to leave no stone unturned for this role, and is also planning to learn the tricks of the trade to get into his character.
The film is touted to be a musical, with music by ace composer Amit Trivedi and is set to start shooting in June.
Aamir is currently busy with his upcoming film Dangal, where he plays the role of a wrestler. The role is based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, for which Aamir had to go through a gruelling weight gain and then weight loss regime. The film is slated to release in December 2016.
