Dhaka-Despite increasing attacks on hindu minorities in the country the incumbent government is not playing any significant role to ensure their security, alleged Jatiya Hindu Mohajote.Advocate Gobinda Chandra Pramanik brought the allegation in a round-table at Dhaka Reporters Unity yesterday.
Hindu people are feeling insecure as their lands are being grabbed, they are being threatened to leave the country and their temples are being vandalized, said Gobinda Chandra Pramanik.
He said due to oppression on them hindu people are thinking of leaving the country in crowd. “If such trend continues, someday the country will not find hindus,” he said.
Even after combined operation, killers are continuing their activities. The people of the country are becoming convinced to believe that the government willingly, to hold the chair, is not destroying killers from the root. The government failed in enforcing law and arresting the criminal, he said
The speakers in the round table demanded demand arrests of the attackers on them, 60 preserved seats in the parliament, separate election and a separate ministry to protect their existence.
The roundtable was also attended the executive president of the alliance Dinabandhu Roy, senior vice president Acinta Kumar Mandal and others.-STAFF REPORTER
