Hearing against Kader Siddiqui for MK Alamgir libel

A Dhaka court on Sunday fixed November 2 for hearing on charge framing against Krishak Sramik Janata League President Bangabir Kader Siddiqui in a defamation case filed against him calling former Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir a ‘Rajakar’.Dhaka’s Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Ali Masud Sheikh passed  the order as the compliance report on the warrant of arrest of Kader Siddiqui did not reach his court till Sunday.
Freedom fighter Ruhul Amin Majumder filed the case against Bangabir Kader Siddiqui for allegedly making the adverse comment on February 19, 2013 at a conference of Krishak Sramik Janata Leage in the city.
Freedom fighters’ welfare organization, National FF Foundation general secretary, Ruhul Amin Majumder and also the complainant of the case mentioned in the case statement that although the members Mohiuddin’s family were not directly involved in the liberation war, none of them were ‘Rajakar’ and their involvement in every step of liberation war was proved to the nation. – Special Correspondent
