Runner Open Tennis Tournament eliminating their rivals at Ramna Tennis Complex on Saturday.In the day’s matches, Amol Roy of Engineers Club beat Munir Hossain of British High Commission Club (BHCC) by 7-6, 6-2 games; Ranjan Ram of International Club defeated Mamun Bepari of Madaripur Tennis Club by 6-2, 7-5 games; Dipu Lal of Nordic Club outplayed Sajib of BHCC by
6-1, 6-0 games while Anwar Hossain of BHCC beat Rubel Hossain of Barisal Club by 6-7, 6-2, 5-1 games.
Meanwhile, in the other matches of the tournament at the same venue, Jwel, Fariduer Reza, Tamim Bin Jahid and Shakib confirmed their
semifinal berth eliminating their rivals in the Boy’s (14 years) single event and Popi Akter and Eti Akter reached in the final of the Girls (14 years) single event. (UNB)
