Islamic party chairman Abdul Mobin no more


Advocate Abdul Mobin, chairman of Bangladesh Islamic Party (BIP), an ally of BNP-led 20-party alliance, died of stroke Lab Aid Specialised Hospital in the city yesterday.
Abdul Mobin, 63, left behind his wife, five sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.Hospital sources said Abdul Mobin was admitted on Tuesday with severe stroke. He breathed his last at around 3:30pm.
BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in a condolence message expressed her deep shock at the death of Abdul Mobin and prayed for the salvation of his departed soul.
BIP organizing secretary Mahmudul Hasan said the first namaz-e-janaza of Abdul Mobin was scheduled to be held at Baitul Mukarram National after Isha prayer.
Abdul Mobin will be buried at his village home of Khosbas under Borura Upazila in Comilla district after second and last namaz-e-janaza at 11:00am today (Wednesday), he said. – Staff Reporter
