The new executive body of Jahangirnagar Theatre, the oldest cultural organization of the campus, has been formed on Monday, says press release.Prof Syed Mohammod Kamrul Ahsan, dean of the faculty of Arts and Humanities and Partha Protim Tonchonga, a third year student of Government and Politics department has been made the president and the General Secretary respectively for 2016 session.
The others office bearers are Nazmul Hossain as organizing secretary, Abdullah Ibne Mahmud Ratul as assistant organizing secretary, Nazmus Sakib as finance secretary, Nazmul Islam Nihat as reduction secretary, Subroto Mondal Sumon as publicity secretary and Anik Das as office secretary.
Besides, Sultana Razia, Dipankar Chokroborti and Fahmida Khanam Aditi have beed selected as the executive member.
Jahangirnagar Theatre, established in 1980, is the oldest cultural organization on the JU campus, sources said.
