Joler Gaan’s concert today for collecting flood reliefs

Popular band “Joler Gaan” will give a concert for the flood-affected people of the country today. The musical show will be organised by Joler Gaan Fan Club, Bangladesh Shipakala Academy, fashion house -Deshal at the Arts Gallery at 7 in the evening. Anyone can get tickets for the show. The ticket price has been fixed at 500 taka. Tickets are available at all the outlets of Deshal in Dhaka and can be also collected by contacting through the bKash number: 01712969304. Proceeds from the show will be spent for the flood victims.

A spokesperson for Joler Gaan said, “We are collecting funds for the flood victims of the recent devastating flood situations. Hope all the people can join with us in the contribution.”

Right after its inception in 2006 Joler Gaan performed overseas in Glasgow, Britain. The folk-based band uses portable instruments and refrains from electrical guitar and other tech items. Almost all the members are from Comilla. The band has released two albums to date. In 2006 the band also performed in National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
