Journalists Moulana Kismati, Abdul Khaleq laid to rest


Dhaka – Noted journalist Mualana Zulfiquer Ahmed Quismati and Abdul Khaleq were laid to eternal rest in Narayanganj and Comilla on Monday.
Zulfiquer Ahmd Quismati who was suffering from old age complications died at the United Hospital on Sunday night. He was in his late eighties. His first Namaz-e-Janaza was held at the Journalist Housing Area in Mirpur 11 on early Monday morning. His second Janaza was held in comilla before his burrial at his ancestral home.Abdul Khaleq who had been suffering from kidney diseases dies of a stroke on early Saturday afternon. After his first Namaj-e-Janaza the Journalist Housing Area the same afternoon his body was kept at a mortuary for the arrival of his relatives.
On Monday a namaj-e-janaza was held at the premises of Jatiya Press Club (JPC) in the morning.
Different journalist’s associations and organizations including JPC, BFUJ placed wreaths at the coffin.
Abdul Khaleq breathed passed away on December 26 at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka at the age of 68.
