Dhaka  – Bangladesh left-handed opening batsman Imrul Kayes hit his 4th Test half century during the 2nd innings of 2nd Test against England at at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday.Kayes hammered a boundary off Adil Rashid bowing in the 27th over to reach 51 from 47 runs when Bangladesh’s score-line was at 135/2 in 26.5 overs,UNB News Agency Reported.He faced 65 balls to fire seven boundaries on the way to his half century.Kayes and Mahmudullah were on batting scoring 58 and 46 runs respectively with team total of 150/2 in 29.2 overs.Both were at stumps with their 3rd wicket contribution of 84 in 16.2 overs.Bangladesh opened the 2nd innings (having 220 in the 1st innings) on the 2nd day against England 1st innings score of 244/10 in 81.3 overs.Bangladesh opening batsman Tamim Iqbal was out for 40 as he was caught by Alastair Cook off Zafar Ansar bowling.29-year Kayes played 25 Test matches to score 1376 runs with an average of 28.66 runs, including three centuries and four half centuries making his Test debut in November 2008.
