Dhaka, June 12 - A team of the Airport Armed Police Battalion seized 119 dead chickens from a restaurant near the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.
Seven people, including the restaurant's manager, cooks and supplier of the chickens were arrested during the raid.
Additional superintendent of Airport Armed Police Ziaul Hoque confirmed the news to UNB.
"A team led by an executive magistrate conducted a drive at Airport Restaurant, beside the Airport Custom House at 2:30 pm and seized the dead chickens,” he said.
He added that legal actions will be taken against the detainees. - UNB
