Malaysia no new market, Govt fails to increase manpower export: BNP

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Friday said that the government has failed to increase manpower export since it could not deal with the matter properly
“Not only in Malaysia, the government has failed to export manpower alsoto the Middle Eastern countries,” he said while talking to reporters after placing wreath at the mazar of BNP founder and President Ziaur Rahman at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.The BNP leader alleged that the government is not making public whatever agreements it signed.
He said that the agreement to export manpower in Malaysia is not a new thing.
“We have come to know through newspapers that it is a normal agreement. Malaysia used to import manpower from Bangladesh later the process was stopped. However, it is good if the country import manpower anew,” he said.
Earlier, the BNP leader taking leaders and activists of Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddher Projonma including its president Shama Obaid placed wreath at the mazar of Ziaur Rahman to mark founding anniversary of the organisation.
Meanwhile, addressing a discussion meeting at Jatiya Press Club Mirza Fakhrul termed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as a new autocrat and said they would not spare her government.
“The government will be compelled to hold a fresh election under a non-partisan neutral government,” he added.
BNP organised the meeting to mark the observance of Fall of Autocrat Day.
The BNP leader said the government looking for conspiracy in everything as they are afraid of movement.
“They have lost their foothold from the ground and standing on the shifting sands,” he added. – Staff Reporter
