Missing housewife found buried in Natore


Dhaka- A teenage girl who went missing on March 24, only two days after her marriage, was found buried at Jhaupara village in Gurudaspur upazila on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Mim Akhter, 15, wife of Farhad Hossain of the village.
Police arrested Farhad, his first wife and his parents over the incident.
Dilip Kumar, officer-in-charge of Gurudashpur Police Station, said Mim was married off to Farhad on March 22. However, she went missing on March 24.

Victim’s father Monirul Islam lodged a complaint with Gurudashpur Police Station over the missing and police detained Farhad for interrogation.

During interrogation, he confessed that they strangulated Mim to death following a feud with his first wife over his 2nd marriage and dumped the body in a bamboo cluster by their house.UNB
