The body of a housewife, who went missing on Friday, was found at
Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Sanjida Haque, wife of a transport
worker, Shamsul Haque, of Burapir Mazar Road area in the district
Golam Sarwar, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station, said
Sanjida went out of the house for shopping on Friday noon and remained
missing since then.
On Saturday morning, family members came to know on mobile phone of an
unknown caller that her body was kept at the MMCH morgue.
Later, they rushed to the hospital and identified the body, bearing
marks of injuries, to be of Sanjida.
Police assumed that killers brought the body to the hospital after
killing her somewhere else and ran away tactfully. -UNB, Mymensingh
