‘Mossad plot’ a cooked up story: BNP

BNP senior leader Nazrul Islam Khan on Friday alleged that the government has invented a ‘Mossad plot’ to divert people’s attention to a different direction from its misdeeds and corruption.

“As people are protesting the Bangladesh Bank reserve account heist and they’re talking about the allegation of having $300 dollars in the account of the Prime Minister’s son, the Mossad conspiracy has been invented to confuse people by diverting their attention to a different direction,” he said. Dhaka, UNB News Agency Reported.

He came up with the remarks while speaking at a discussion arranged by Arafat Rahman Koko Jubo and Kira Sangsad.

Mentioning that the government will continue to cook up stories in the coming days as part of its plot to harm BNP and confuse people, Nazrul urged his party men to remain aware about it.

He turned down the government’s allegation that BNP along with Israel’s inelegance agency Mossad is plotting against the government. “It’s nothing, but an incredible story.”

Describing BNP as an unsecular party, the BNP leader said this party cannot conspire with Israel, which is an anti-Islamic force and has killed lakhs of Palestinian Muslims. “It’s completely impossible. Awami League can hatch a plot with Israel as it’s a secular party.”

Referring to the arrest of BNP-backed different city mayors, he said those who not elected with people’s votes are in the Secretariat and running the country while those elected by people are now in jail. “We’re now living under such a situation in the country.”
