Moudud will be received at Heathrow Airport in London by his wife and daughter who are already in the UK. The BNP stalwart has been going to London for treatment as per advice by physicians at United Hospital here where he underwent treatment for a week. He was admitted to the hospital after he fell down at his Gulshan residence following chest pain on October 6. Moudud, a current MP and also a former minister, went to Sylhet to join a public rally of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on October 5. He complained of light chest pain at night and flew back to the capital the following morning (Oct 6). Only few hours after returning home, Moudud fainted at about 1:30 pm while going to the washroom. He was immediately taken to the United Hospital. The veteran BNP leader underwent various tests at the hospital, but the doctors could not identify any specific cardiac problem. – UNB
