BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed returned home on Sunday after his 15-day tour of London for medical treatment. He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11am in a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Moudud’s chamber junior Ehsanur Rahman told UNB. Ehsan said the BNP leader is now quite fine.
On October 12, the BNP leader had been in London for better treatment of his heart problems as per advice by physicians at United Hospital here where he had undergone treatment for a week before flying to the UK. Moudud, a current MP and also a former minister, was first admitted to the United Hospital after he fell down at his Gulshan residence following chest pain on October 6. – UNB
