New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 4 wickets and leveled series yesterday Sharjah. Winning the toss, Pakistan opted to bat first and was bowled out in the 49th over. Pakistan was looking to post a big total but the Kiwi bowlers did well to pull them back. Matt Henry took 4 wickets while McClenaghan took 3.Hafeez top scored with 76. New Zealand made a great start with the bat; opening pair of Brownlie and Devcich put on 103 runs for the first wicket. New Zealand did loose some quick wickets in the middle but, Kiwi captain, Kane Williamson took them home with his unbeaten 70. He was awarded man of the match. Third ODI will be played at the same venue on December 14.
