Newborn dies with aunt in mishap before reaching hospital


Two people, including a new born boy baby, were killed and five others seriously injued when a CNG-run three wheeler skipped off into a roadside ditch in ccapital’s Khilgaon area on Monday evening.
The victim was identified as Suraiya, 8, daughter of Hossain Mia, and her brother’s new born 3-day boy baby.
The injured people were identified as Shipan Mia, 25, his wife Sonia, 25, his father Hossain Mia, 50, mother Selina Akhter, 45, and mother-in-law Rina Akhter, 25.Sources at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital said Shipon Mia and six others came to Dhaka Ad Din hospital of Moghbazar from Nabinagar of Brahman Baria as his new born baby was seriously ill.
They were going to Naryangonj from Rampura by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw. They were scheduled to go to Brahmanbaria fron Nryangonj.
When their CNG-run three wheeler reached at Nagdar bazaar of Meradia under Khilgaon police station on Demra Road at about 6:30 pm, suddenly a kerosene oil-laden truck lorry hit it resulting skipped away the CNG- run vehicle on the roadside ditch.
The 3-day aged new born baby and Suriya died on the spot, while five others were rushed to the DMCH at about 8:00 pm. – News Desk
