One-off Test: Mushfiq hits his 5th ton as Bangladesh 357/8 on Day 4


Dhaka, Feb 12 (UNB): Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim scored his fifth century and his side collected 357 runs for 8 wickets during first session on the fourth day of the one-off Test against India in Hyderabad on Sunday.Bangladesh trail by 330 runs with 2 wickets remaining in the 1st innings against India’s 687/6-declared.Mushfiqur Rahim  and Taskin Ahmed were on batting, scoring 104 and 1 runs  respectively Mushfiq was batting on 104 off painstaking 244 balls, including 12 boundaries and one over boundary.The Tigers resumed the 1st innings on day-4 with their overnight score of 322/6 in 104 overs but collapsed to 339 runs for 8  in 113.5 overs losing Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Taijul Islam.With this, Mushfiqur reached the 3000-run club in the Test as the 4th Bangladeshi after former national captain Habibul Bashar, Tamim Iqbal and all-rounder Shakib.Mushfiqur was 78 runs away to reach the mark before the day and now he has 3003 runs in his bag from 52 Tests at an average 34.51, including four centuries and 16 half centuries. Miraz made his maiden Test half century with unbeaten 51 off 103 balls, including 10 boundaries on day-3.Shakib scored 82 off 103 balls, including 14 boundaries.
