Police cordon off ‘militant den’ in Savar


Savar – Police on Friday afternoon cordoned off a five-storey building in Genda area of Savar, on the outskirts of the capital, suspecting it a militant hideout. UNB news agency reported
The law enforcers said they suspect a few ‘militants’ have been staying in the ground floor of the building, owned by one Anwar Molla, a local trader.
Police have cordoned off the building around 7:30pm, said Ashraful Azim, Additional Superintendent of Police in Dhaka district, adding that they have asked the local people to stay vigilantly.
