Dhaka – The week long persistent rain in the capital ruined the four successive matches of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Women’s Wing Challenge Series, involving in six matches.The three-team tournament was supposed to start from July 22 but the rain forced washout the four matches of the series, including the Wednesday’s battle between Padma XI and Meghna XI at City Club Ground (CCG).If rain stops, Jamuna XI will play Padma XI at Dhaka University Ground on July 27 while Meghna XI to face Jamuna XI at CCG on July 28.A total of 42 players are taking part in this tournament following their two-day training camp which ended on July 21 at National Cricket Academy in Mirpur.UNB news agency
