Muhtaram,
Assalamo Alaikum Warahmatullah,
We have the great pleasure in offering our sincerest greetings and best wishes to your excellency at the advent of the Holy month of Ramadan-ul-Mobarak.It’s a month, which has gone down in the Islamic history for the signal victories that were achieved by the Muslims. The landmark victory was the Battale of Badr when, for the first time, the followers of a new faith were put to a serious test. This battle laid the foundation of the first Islamic state in the Arabian Peninsula. Another significant event during this month was the revelation of the first verse of the holy Quran. Ramadan provides an opportunity for Muslims around the world to rejuvenate their spirits, heal wounded hearts and strengthen weakened souls. It enables us to live a life in harmony with commands of our Creator. Ramadan is becoming more and more an opportunity for Muslims around the world to repair their damaged spirits, to heal their wounded hearts and to strengthen their weakened souls. A fellow Muslim can plan a Iftar at his home. There is blessing in feeding a fasting person other than himself and his family. A fellow Muslim who wants to get to the mosque for Tarawih. The purpose of Zakah, monetary worship, is also clearly the same.
We pray to Almighty Allah to guide all the Muslims on the right lines and may this month of Holy Ramadan ushers in era of peace, prosperity and progress not only for the Ummah-i-Islamiya, but for members of of the entire Human Family.
Let us act One Mind and one Body—that is the way to strengthen the gtreat concept One Ummah-i-Islamiya.
With kindest regards,
Ma’assalam
