The registration process for the 4th convocation of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia will begin on October 22.
“The registration beginning on October 22 will continue till November 15,” said Professor Dr Paresh Chandra Barman, director of Computer Centre of the university this morning.
According to the Computer Centre sources, over 38,000 main certificates will be given for the degrees of graduation in honors, post graduation, M.Phil and Ph.D through the convocation.
In this regard, the honors’ students from the academic session 1995-96 to 2011-12, the master’s students from 1997-98 to 2014-15, M.Phil and Ph.D researchers who were got the approval till the 236th syndicate of the university can register their names for the convocation.
Acting registrar of the university SM Abdul Laif said interested students would have to complete registration by filling up the form available on the university website (www.iu.ac.bd/convocation) in time.
For the registration, students will have to pay Taka 3,000 for a certificate, Taka 3,500 for two certificates and Taka 4,000 for more two certificates through Agrani Bank, IU branch or mobile banking Rocket, Sure Cash or MyCash, he added.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari said the 4th convocation would be held in the first week in 2018.
After getting the final approval of the university Chancellor and President M Abdul Hamid, the specific date would be declared one month before of the scheduled time, he added.
