Schoolboy’s throat-slit body recovered in Bogra


Police recovered the body of a schoolboy with the throat slashed from a jute field at Katakhali village in Sariakandi upazila on Wednesday morning.The deceased was identified as Shohag, 7, son of Nakumuddin, hailing from Katakhali village.Family sources said some unidentified men called Shohag from his house on Tuesday night.Later, locals found his body in the jute field on Wednesday morning and informed police.On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body around 9am.Officer-in-charge of Sariakandi Police Station Wahiduzzaman confirmed the incident.Police also arrested two people in connection with the incident. -UNB, Bogra
