T20 Cricket: Nepal off to good start beating BKSP by 6 wkts

Dhaka- Nepal Women’s Cricket team, now touring Bangladesh as part of their preparations for the World Cup Qualifiers, made a good start in the BKSP-Nepal four-match T20 series, beating the hosts by six wickets in the first match at BKSP ground-1 in Savar on Sunday.BKSP batted first after winning the toss and were bundled out for 69 runs in 19.5 overs with Sobhana Mustarai making 16 and Sumaiya Erin 10 runs.Narayan Thapa grabbed three wickets for 10 runs.In reply, visiting Nepal team easily reached their target scoring 72 runs for 4 in 18.2 overs with Jayati Pandey scoring not out 34 and Narayan Thapa 15 runs.Later, Narayan Pandey was adjudged player of the match.The 2nd T20 match between two teams will be held on Monday.UNB news agency
