Mishti Jannat acted in the lead roles alongside with Saimon Sadik in Tui Amar film that released yesterday.

Sajal Ahmed’s romantic comedy Tui Amar and two Hollywood films, including Lion and Incarnate hit cinemas yesterday.

Starring Saimon Sadik and Mishti Jannat in the lead roles, Tui Amar features a love story between a girl from an affluent family named Mishti (acted by Mishti Jannat) with struggling youth (acted by Sadiq).

Produced by Heaven Multimedia, the film also stars Aliraj, Bipasha Kabir, Rehena Jolly and others. ‘Tui Amar is full of fun and romance. I hope viewers will enjoy watching the film,’ Sajal said. The film was released at 75 cinemas across the country.

Hollywood films Lion and Incarnate were released simultaneously at Star Cineplex and Jamuna Blockbuster in the capital. Lion is a biographical film based on the non-fiction A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley. The film stars Dev Patel, Rooney Mara, David Wenham and Nicole Kidman.

Incarnate is, on the other hand, is a supernatural horror film which stars Aaron Eckhart, Carice van Houten, Catalina Sandino Moreno, David Mazouz, Keir O’Donnell, Matt Nable, and John Pirruccello.
