Training in ‘objective journalism’ ends


The three-day training in “Objective Journalism” ended today at the VIP lounge of Khulna Press Club.
Khulna Press Club (KPC) and Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) jointly organised the training programme.
Mostofa Kamal, deputy commissioner of Khulna, addressed the session as the chief guest with KPC president Mokbul Hossain Mintu in the chair.Khulna Police Superintendent Habibur Rahman and Chairman of Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Rajshahi University Dr Pradip Kumar Panday attended the programme as special guests.The chief guest said that journalists have been playing a vital role for the development and wellbeing of the country and called on them for publishing more positive and development stories in their respective media.Later, he distributed certificates among the trainees.A total of 35 journalists from print and electronic media took part in the training. -BSS, Khulna
