Two stabbed dead in sleep at Jessore filling station


Dhaka – Two staff of a filling station were stabbed dead in Charabhita area of Bagharpara upazila of the southwestern Jessore district on Monday morning, UNB news agency reported.The deceased were identified as Obaidur Rahman, 45, son of Abdur Rahman Molla, and Apu Khan, 40, son of Sadar Uddin, residents of the area and staff of ‘Abdul Bari Filing Station’.
Sayer Uddin, officer-in-charge of Bagharpara Police Station, said Obaidur and Apu slept inside the filling station after closing it at Sunday night.
Later locals found the two lying dead with stab injuries in the morning and informed police who recovered the bodies.
They might have been killed by their coworker Sirajul Islam over previous enmity, added the OC.
However, Sirajul Islam went into hiding after the incident.
