U-23 Football: Bangladesh to face Nepal in friendly Tuesday


Dhaka – Bangladesh Under-23 Football team will face Nepal Under-23 side in a friendly encounter in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
Bangladesh is playing the friendly as part of their preparation before the four-team Group-E battles of the AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers 2018 to be held in Palestine from July 19-23.The visiting Bangladesh side had precise training sessions ahead of the friendly at All Nepal Football Association Astroturf in Kathmandu on Sunday.There were warm up sessions followed by ball-to-ball attacking play that took place on the turf for around 90 minutes amid intermittent rain in the afternoon to revive the players from an exhausted journey.Earlier in the morning, the head coach Andrew Ord called on the players to hold on to their mental strength.The head coach was highly satisfied with the dedication and commitment of the players as his boys pumped up after the session.Bangladesh U23 football team reached Kathmandu, Nepal on July 9 (Sunday).After the mission in Nepal, Bangladesh team will travel to Qatar to play another preparatory match against Qatar U23 team on Thursday (July 13).
