Dhaka – Bangladesh women’s cricket team will start their campaign in the six-nation ACC Women’s Asia Cup T20I against Sri Lanka at Royal Selangor Club in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.The 2nd match of the continental tournament will begin at 7:30 am (Bangladesh time), while host Malaysia taking on India in the opener which will begin at the same time and day at Kinrara Academy Oval.
Bangladesh captain Salma Khatun hoped her side will play good cricket to reach into the final of the meet saying, “All teams are good. So do us. Of course we will try to play good cricket, if so, we can play the final. We hope to bring a good result.”
Salma was talking to press before leaving home for Malaysia on Friday.In the remaining matches, Bangladesh will face Pakistan, India, Thailand and host Malaysia on June 4, 6, 7 and 9 respectively. The event will be end June 10.
