Back after shooting for xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Deepika Padukone is all smiles and is making up for all she missed while she was away from India.

“India is home, and that’s never going to change,” she said.

Deepika’s connect with India is deep-rooted, and when asked about the same, she reportedly said, “You can’t take India out of me. My roots are here, and at the end of the day, it’s about your roots. People go for holidays, but eventually, come back home. So, no matter where I go in the world, this [India] is home, and that will never change.”

Ask her about how different is working in Hollywood from working in Bollywood, she says, “It was the same in terms of every minute detail. That’s what made me feel at home; made me feel comfortable. Most importantly, like any other film, all of us were on a journey.”

Sharing her experience about shooting in Hollywood with people of different cultures, the actress said, “It was great fun. It was not about different people from different parts of the world coming together. We all came with our cultures to make a fun-filled and interesting movie. I am sure that will translate on screen too.”

Starring Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev and Rory McCann, xXx will hit the theatres in US on January 20, 2017.
